
Rediscovering time
We left the kids with grandparents… for 10 days. Suddenly we are left almost vacant by the endless expanses of time that slowly unfold in front of us. What did we use to do before we had the little ones ? How did we not savour idleness with more abandon. To semi-quote Peter Ustinov from memory:
Parents are the bones upon which children sharpen their teeth
